Peace

Peace is prayerfully, elegantly, assuredly, calmly and earnestly trusting in God in spite of the current situation.

Hi friend and welcome back to another week. Hope you had an awesome Easter and still thinking about the work of Christ.

This week, I come with another short post which I’ve simply titled Peace.

To be a little more transparent, but also not overshare yet (more to come later), life has had a lot of ups and downs lately.

However on the midst of all of that, God is still showing His faithfulness through His peace.

One of the most impressive picture I saw years ago was one of a bird who had perched itself on a tiny branch in the middle of a storm. The clouds were dark, there was rain falling from the sky, yet this bird was sitting there as if it was a sunny day at the beach.

My mind has often drifted to that image when I feel life's storms raging. And while I wish to be like that bird every single time, perched on to God’s Word (as the branch) without a care in the world, this hasn’t always been the case, but that’s okay.

It’s okay because He’s still working on me and hopefully on you too.

He is working on a peace that surpasses all of our understanding like Philippians‬ ‭4:7 states: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” [ESV‬‬]

This is what I pray for you this week. No matter what life throws at you, I pray for a peace that passes all understanding. A peace that no person, circumstance or hardship will take away from you.
